The day this arrived, I clipped it onto my sweatpants and went out for a short walk around the block, just to see how it worked. I did not expect much, but I was surprised by how simple and handy this little pedometer turned out to be. It is very lightweight, so after a few minutes I completely forgot it was there. The clip feels secure enough that I did not worry about it falling off, even when I was moving around doing house chores before my walk. The screen is clear and easy to read. I can glance down and see my steps without squinting, even in regular indoor lighting. I am not very techy, so I really appreciate that there are no complicated buttons or confusing menus to deal with. I started using it every day, not just for outdoor walks but also around the house. It actually made me more aware of how much or how little I move during the day. Sometimes I catch myself pacing around just to see the numbers go up a bit, which oddly makes things more fun. It has become part of my routine to reset it in the morning and check it again before bed.
The battery life has been solid so far. I have been using it daily for a while and it is still going strong. One small thing is that if I clip it at a weird angle, the steps do not seem as accurate, so I learned to keep it upright. Once I did that, it felt much more consistent.
Overall, it is a simple, practical little device that does exactly what I wanted. It fits easily into daily life and makes walking feel a bit more motivating without being complicated.
