Very stout Plyo-box.
I've been wanting a plyo box for years and what's going to just build one myself but when I saw this easy to assemble pre-cut box I thought this is the way to do it. I'm glad I did as this heavy duty box is built with 9 ply void free plywood and surfaced with a protective paint and texture. Assembly was quick. I made one small improvement, drilling pilot holes to ensure that the screws did not split the plywood. Jump testing my 200 lb body onto it showed no sign of movement. It's rock solid. I am using this on the carpet and the raw edges need to be sanded and likely all varnish them to prevent hooking on the carpet and a preserve the edges. This is a great player box and a good value.

    This plyo box was an amazing purchase with a great prize and super easy installation. To install you just screw in screws throughout the box that are pre-drilled, so it is a very easy few minute process. Once built, it is extremely sturdy and seems very durable. I used this box for box jumps, and step ups and it does amazing doesn’t tilt on me at all.

    Sturdy, easy to assemble, and useful. Just be mindful of where you place the box. Don’t place it on concrete or hardwood floor. It’s best to place it on a mat or carpet

    Very sturdy, high quality jump box. I love it and I just bought another one for my mom. A couple warnings: the holes are not pre drilled into the wood, so you need to have a nice drill with a screw driver bit to assemble. Also there are some interior support pieces that just don’t stay in place, so before you finish assembling, I suggest gluing them into place or leaving out the 3rd leg of the support piece. It’s so sturdy you won’t need it anyway.

    This box is not slip resistant as described. Yes, there is a somewhat rough coating on it, but it still slides in the floor. And, if you are not exactly centered on the box, it tips over. This item is not as sturdy as it seems it would be, and is therefore dangerous. Assembly instructions are nonexistent – it’s not difficult, but you are left to figure it out on your own, and there are no pilot holes drilled where the pieces attach to each other.
