Over the past year, I lost weight to get back to what I was accustomed to weighing most of my life. I had let myself go for a while, and through lifestyle changes, got back where I'm comfortable. As a reference, I'm 5'6 and 120 lb. So, while I managed to get my weight back down, I realized I wasn't as healthy as I wanted to be. So I'm getting back into fitness, and I had seen jumping rope online as a cardiovascular workout, and decided I would do that again too! For I used to jump rope all the time! I mean.. all the time! I did it more as a fun pastime, never realizing the health benefits it offers. And it offers so very many! When I saw this ropeless jump rope, I knew that this was a good option for me. At my age, the less rope I'm actually jumping the better! So okay.. that's why I ordered it! Here's how it's going..
I've only had it a couple of days, and already I love it. It does everything it says it will do in the ad, is super easy to use and appears to be a good quality for the low price. I don't have anything to which to compare it, but I love it! It has a solid design and does what it says it will do. The handles are slightly weighted so that you can talk yourself into believing there's a rope attach. There's also a rope you can attach for outdoor use. I can also use the rope in my basement, but, as mentioned, I prefer using it ropeless which is this products niche anyway.
So far I find it to be durable – especially for the price! I haven't dropped it yet, but I imagine it would work out okay through a few drops.
If you're looking for a new way to score great cardiovascular benefits among many many others, give this inexpensive ropeless jump rope a try! If this one works out, I may look for others that are slightly more weighted and less inexpensive in terms of materials. For now, I love this one! It's a great beginners rope!
